Poetry Infinity: FLD technology to create prototypes at the speed of light
Poetry Infinity is the new super fast and super accurate 3D printer by the italian start-up Ira3D.
One of the innovative features that distinguish this 3D printer is the FLD technology (Fast Layer Deposition), that allows to create models by laying different layers of plastic filament on each other in order to obtain the finished object. With the new FLD technology Poetry Infinity reaches the incredible speed of 400 mm/s, with 80% of estimated printing times reduction.
The secret lies in the ability to handle really high accelerations (9000 mm/s²), which let the machine to use the full potential of its speed, while maintaining excellent print accuracy.
FLD technology therefore guarantees a considerable time saving compared to traditional modeling, making the building phase fast, accurate, and economical.
